The Museum hosts one of the worlds largest collection of cuckoo clocks with thousands of assorted exhibits.
The collection is ever changing and preservation is now a permanent commitment and aims to achieve the most comprehensive and complete assembly of fine clocks of their type anywhere. Many on display are working whilst others are awaiting repair and finish. As you enjoy the collection you will hear many of the old sounds of Europe, particularly as the associated musical movements begin to play in authentic tunes of that period.
You are kindly reminded that the clocks are both old and delicate, and that in order to get them into working condition, very considerable time and effort has been invested in them. Please enjoy looking at them and if you wish to take photographs a permit is available, please enquire on entry.
